11. Run YouTube ads

An effective advertising strategy can accelerate the growth of a new channel. In addition to promoting your YouTube channel organically, you can also pay to run YouTube ads to attract more followers.

Before you start advertising on YouTube, decide which audience you want to reach.

1. Who are the audiences you want to reach ? Choose specific audiences based on demographics, language, and interests.

2. What topics they search for . Through YouTube advertising, you can reach audiences searching for specific topics. You can also choose which video or channel to display your ads on.

12. Understand your results and optimize your YouTube channel

Once your YouTube channel is up and running, track how it's performing. Here are some metrics to look at in YouTube Analytics:

1► Watch time : The approximate time your audience spends watching your video content

2Traffic Sources : Displays various traffic sources and the total number of views from each source, allowing you to clearly understand how users find your video

3►Subscriber Rate : Based on the video, it shows how many followers each video lost or gained

4Viewer retention rate : Shows the exact time when users stop watching the video. Use this information to find out where users lose their attention and what may cause them to turn off the video, which will help improve future videos.

5Comments : Monitor who commented on which videos on your YouTube Analytics dashboard so you can easily respond and make your brand appear approachable and engaging

Identify your goals and then translate them into metrics that are relevant to your business. For example, if you want to know how your target audience engages with your video content, you can look at watch time and see how many viewers convert to subscribers.

A successful YouTube channel follows a strategy to achieve its goals as effectively as possible. During this process, you may need to fine-tune your strategy and review your analytics reports monthly to see where you can make long-term improvements to your channel's performance.
